Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
* To co-operate with your employer and comply with responsibilities under relevant legislation and regulations.
* To ensure Individual Care Plans (ICPs) are up to date and that services are delivered to the highest possible quality and safety standards.
* To maintain the highest level of infection control standards as directed by company policy and national best practice guidance.
* You will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care.
* To complete unit rotas and ensure appropriate skill mix is in place in each individual unit.
* Clinical Nursing Lead to ensure allocated staff are aware of Individual Care Plans and objectives.
* To take charge of the Centre in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing/Director of Nursing.
Requirements
* Registered on or eligible to be on the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* A minimum of 3+ years post-qualification/registration psychiatric nursing experience.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
* Desired experience: Previous clinical management experience.
