Job Summary
This role involves managing projects with a process-driven approach, ensuring delivery in line with the CDE Project Management framework and best practice while maintaining exceptional customer communication.
You will further develop your understanding of PM principles and best practice, applying them in complex and strategic projects to achieve a more strategic and value-optimising perspective.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure full compliance with CDE's and our customers' health & safety requirements within the region, guaranteeing 'Home Safe Every Day' for you and your team.
2. Maintain compliance with CDE's continuous improvement culture 'Do It Right'.
Project Management:
1. Operate within the CDE Project Management framework to deliver allocated projects within agreed scope, plan, quality, and time milestones.
2. Maintain current working knowledge of project management best practice.
3. Drive efficient coordination and facilitation of the project close-out process, including final 'snags' or outstanding works.
4. Support processes within the Project Management Framework and product quality to better meet customer and market expectations.
5. Contribute to value creation through project and programme processes and systems and successful project delivery.
Customer Relations:
1. Act as single point of contact for all assigned projects, ensuring awareness and compliance with contractual arrangements.
2. Align expectations between stakeholders and ensure traceability between what has been agreed and delivered.
Timeline & Budget Management:
1. Communicate target project deliverables to relevant business functions.
2. Manage project costs against planned budgetary milestones, taking corrective action when necessary.
3. Upsell and manage variation opportunities and ensure non-planned costs are covered by a variation order where possible.
Communications & Reporting:
1. Communicate consistently with internal and external stakeholders on project progress and issues.
2. Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies.
