Senior Physiotherapist Opportunity
We are delighted to have partnered with a friendly and supportive Primary Care service in Letterkenny to recruit a Senior Physiotherapist. This is a full-time, 35 hour week spread across Monday - Friday, offering excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunities.
About the Role
This role involves working with an adult patient population in a community-based setting, addressing a range of non-complex physiotherapy conditions. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives by providing high-quality physiotherapy interventions tailored to their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for adult patients with various physiotherapy needs
* Deliver individualised and group-based interventions in line with best practices in primary care
* Provide health education and promote lifestyle changes to support long-term health and mobility
* Act as a clinical lead and mentor for junior physiotherapists, supporting professional development and knowledge sharing
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
* Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with healthcare policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU
* Registration with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council)
* A minimum of 3 years relevant experience (for Senior Grade) or previous experience in a similar setting (for Staff Grade)
* Proven experience in working with an adult population in a primary care or similar setting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A valid driving license and access to a car

* Additional training or experience in managing non complex conditions within the adult population
* A commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
* Familiarity with Irish healthcare systems and protocols
