Journal Media (The Journal, The 42) is looking for an experienced part-time Bookkeeper
Job Summary
You will be working on a permanent part-time basis, five mornings per week (20 hours) reporting to the Financial Controller. The role is a hybrid one, you will work both remotely and at the company offices in Dublin city centre.

Core Responsibilities
* Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments.
* Accounts Receivable – reconciling debtor accounts and addressing customer account queries
* Accounts payable – Processing purchase invoices, reconciling creditor accounts and liaising with creditors
* Allocation of bank transactions
* Perform banks and credit cards reconciliations
* Prepare accounts to trial balance
* Liaising with company accountant
* Other ad hoc duties and tasks as required by the business
Skills/Requirements
* 2+ years’ bookkeeping experience in a busy office environment
* Accounting Technician or IPASS Certification
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the role
* Excellent attention to detail and comfortable working on own initiative with the ability to plan and control their workload
* Ability to work under time pressure and to prioritise tasks effectively
