The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Delivery team is searching for a passionate and talented Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to support projects growing our Data Center infrastructure.
The Sr. TIPM will lead cross-functional and technical teams to deliver Data Center capacity and deliver projects from strategy, conceptual design feasibility, requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Key job responsibilitiesYou will oversee multiple programs that support growth initiatives and deliver independently, seeking direction occasionally.You will manage remote project delivery teams, and possess the ability to facilitate technical sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues, and remove barriers to project success.You will be able to operate in cross-functional matrix-based teams, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders and customers across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non-value-add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.You will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal), and possess experience in project management of technical initiatives, as well as strategic program management.A day in the lifeAlong with technical knowledge, we expect our leaders to interact with customers, partners and suppliers to understand our business goals and priorities, and to execute rapidly, delivering high-quality results.They will be familiar with a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle.They'll be able to exhibit demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e.
network, data center, hardware, software).Fluent in written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English language.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's Degree or advanced professional degree.One or more of the following certifications: Agile, SCRUM, PRINCE2, PMP.Understanding of cloud computing and data center market and service providers.Data Centre construction experience and Data Centre Infrastructure (Power & Cooling) experience.Knowledge of Korean Data Centre market.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
