Three Q, on behalf of our client, are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager II to lead their Urgent Cardiac Care unit. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing a high-performance team and ensuring exceptional patient care. The Clinical Nurse Manager II will report to the Director of Nursing and be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Urgent Cardiac Care unit, including patient care, staff development, and budget management.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the Urgent Cardiac Care unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care is delivered at all times.
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of registered nurses and support staff to achieve optimal performance and staff engagement.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and manage the budget for the Urgent Cardiac Care unit.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes.
Participate in recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, patients, families, and community organizations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
NMBI Registered.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a cardiac care setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem-solve.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in cardiac care.
Experience with budget management and financial analysis.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
