The Person:
We’re looking for an Account Executive who has been developing their career over the last 1+ years, developing their skills while delivering success within an agency environment. On joining our passionate team you will assist on a number of accounts with a view to progressing and developing your own client base. You will be given every opportunity to grow and develop your career within an Agency which dreams big.
Our ideal candidate has superb communication, organisation and documentation skills, identifies solutions and is comfortable playing their role in working as part of a team. Most importantly, they must have a passion for events, a desire to continuously be up to speed on the latest trends (events, tech, culture, etc) and aspirations for greatness! You are a ‘people person’ with a positive attitude and the ability to organise and communicate with people within & outside the organisation.
Here’s what you’ll do:
1. Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue liaison, supplier management, catering, and entertainment.
2. Manage all aspects of an experiential campaign from sourcing props and venues to booking and briefing staff.
3. Development and management of personnel liaison at all points and stages of Campaigns.
4. Support the team with onsite execution, representing both Verve and our clients in the best possible way.
5. Negotiate with suppliers to get the best possible quality and price for our clients.
6. Build out proposal decks to be shared with clients.
7. Support with management of budgets and resources.
8. Measure success and report on ROI: Develop and implement metrics to track event performance, analyse data, and demonstrate the value delivered to clients.
9. Stay ahead of industry trends: Continuously research and recommend innovative ideas to enhance future events.
10. Help keep Verve databases and templates up to date.
11. Take briefs accurately demonstrating that you get brands and that you understand what the client is looking for because you have the experience and you’re able to add value to the process.
12. Support Account Managers & Directors to pen client proposals which support creative, innovative and strategic direction. We want somebody who thinks outside the box, goes above, beyond and can deliver vision with passion and confidence.
13. Good writing and presentation skills for pitches, presentations and feedback reporting.
We’re looking for someone who:
1. Possesses 1+ years of experience in an agency, with a proven track record of supporting the delivery of successful events and experiences.
2. Has the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time.
3. Has a strong understanding of logistics, budgeting, and supplier management.
4. Excels at communication, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
5. Demonstrates strategic thinking and the ability to translate client goals into actionable plans.
6. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses exceptional problem-solving skills.
