Role Purpose:
To develop a defined territory as outlined by the General Manager, taking full responsibility for sales, debt, margin, and profit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver and exceed agreed territory sales, profit, and margin targets across the Foodservice and Retail business.
* Develop the territory by managing a prospect list to secure new customers.
* Drive growth through expanding the range supplied to existing accounts.
* Maintain all accounts within Musgrave MarketPlace credit terms.
* Manage customer contracts, including pricing and range, to maximise profitability.
* Ensure excellent customer service through friendly, accurate field communication and good administration practices.
* Provide relevant information on competitor activity and trade field information to the General Manager and business.
* Ensure the correct product mix in each account for maximum profitability.
* Collaborate with Territory Telesales Developers, Regional General Managers, and Regional Foodservice Floor Managers for maximum growth.
* Complete required administration tasks, including Journey plans, Daily Sales Reports, Record Cards, and Prospect lists.
Requirements:
* Understanding of the foodservice and retail customer landscape.
* Experience/knowledge in the food industry or direct foodservice sales.
* Proven track record in proactive field sales and achieving targets.
* Professional selling skills and customer focus.
* Commercial awareness, administration skills, planning, and time management.
* Forward thinking with the ability to work independently and adapt to change.
* Ability to change, adapt, and be flexible.
* Leaving Cert/GCSE qualification.
* Fully clean driving licence.
