Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Claims Team Leader to join our ALPI DAC business in our Cherrywood office.
The successful candidate will lead a team of claims assessors and administrators, responsible for delivering top-quality claims service to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Effectively manage work queues, ensuring prompt and accurate results.
* Continually monitor and check all Risk events & Errors have been properly recorded and resolved.
* Evaluate the skills and knowledge of team members and implement process improvements to enhance the service.
* Manage individual objectives and performance appraisals, promoting a positive work environment.
* Maintain compliance with regulatory/legislative frameworks governing life insurance and income protection.
Requirements:
* Broad knowledge and experience in Life and Income Protection, including business processes/products and platforms/systems.
* QFA qualification (or equivalent) or working towards (Min APA).
* Demonstrate consistent understanding of Aviva values and behaviours.
* Familiarity with regulatory/legislative frameworks governing life insurance and income protection.
* Ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
