About the Role
We are seeking a HR Consultant to join our team of talented experts.
In this role, you will be working closely with a portfolio of clients across various industries.
You will provide expert guidance on areas including Employee Relations, Employment Law compliance, and operational best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expertise in HR strategy, policies, and best practices.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
* Develop and implement tailored HR solutions to address client needs in areas such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, organisational development, benchmarking.
* Support clients in navigating complex employee relations issues, offering practical solutions and support where necessary.
* Conduct audits of HR practices and systems to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
* Collaborate with clients to design and execute change management initiatives, including workforce planning and restructuring.
* Stay abreast on the latest HR trends and legal requirements, ensuring clients are provided with the necessary guidance and remain compliant.
* Contribute to a knowledge sharing and collegiate culture, supporting learning and development of others.
* Contribute to the research and design of training programmes and consultancy assignments.
Requirements:
* Degree in HR, Business Studies or Business Administration, or a related field (CIPD qualification or equivalent is a plus).
* A minimum of 5 years' experience, working in a fast-paced HR Department, including providing advisory support.
* A client-focused mindset with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
* Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
* Ability to analyse complex issues and deliver practical, results-driven solutions.
* Ability to develop reports and present findings to clients both in writing and in person.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to think ahead and identify unidentified issues that may arise.
* Proficiency in HR software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple client projects effectively.
* Experience in pay & benefits benchmarking or gender pay gap reporting would be desirable though not essential.
* Be a self-starter, who holds ethics and integrity high on their personal values.
* Be a strong team player, as well as being able to work independently on specific tasks and assignments.
