Job Description
The Quality Control Technician performs a variety of technical inspections and testing and monitoring tasks to detect processing, manufacturing, and other defects.
Responsibilities include:
1. Setting up scientific, electronic, or other technical equipment to perform functional and inspection tests;
2. Analysing and interpreting the results of tests undertaken and writing up reports upon completion;
3. Supervising the work of routine inspection staff and noting any defects reported;
4. Assisting quality control engineers in undertaking production audits;
5. Liaising with production engineers and staff to maintain the quality of output and to develop quality management systems.
