Role Overview:
We're seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to take the lead in optimising, managing, and scaling cloud infrastructure solutions for a large enterprise. You will work across multiple projects, ensuring cloud services are cost-efficient, secure, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. This role involves hands-on management of cloud environments, implementing best practices for automation, and collaborating closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams.
You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering cloud solutions, ensuring the systems remain available, scalable, and secure. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative cloud projects and play a key role in driving the company's cloud strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency
* Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools
* Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are secure and efficient
* Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications, ensuring high availability and performance
* Troubleshoot production and staging environments, proactively monitoring for potential issues
* Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and design cloud solutions that align with technical and organizational goals
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, including security and regulatory requirements
* Document processes and architectures to ensure consistent communication across teams
Skills & Qualifications:
* 7+ years experience in Cloud Engineering, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
* Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration
* Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
* Understanding of cloud security practices, including IAM, networking, and encryption
* Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
* Experience with load balancing, firewalls, and network security technologies
* Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
