Position Summary
The position reports to the Software Services Group (SSG) Software Development Manager and you will work closely with our development, QA, support, and BA team. The position requires strong development skills with responsibility for the design, architecture, development, testing, and debugging of our application.
You must have a very strong ability in writing clean and maintainable code, knowledge of relational databases, writing automated tests, web/API, and client-server concepts with an interest in building scalable systems. The ideal candidate will most importantly have a passion for solving problems, and a pragmatic ability to ship results iteratively and deliver stories/features every sprint and contribute to the overall success of the scrum team.
90% of your time will be writing new feature development or designing solutions.
JetrBrains Ultimate, RedGate, and Visual Studio 2022 licenses are supplied to all developers.

Key Responsibilities:
* Full stack developer delivering custom web applications using .NET framework, .NET core or .NET 8, VueJS, MSSQL.
* Provide input to systems architecture and design.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
* Support the business analyst providing input to the system design and functional specifications.
* Experience working within Agile/Scrum team.
* Familiarity working in Cloud Architecture would be a distinct advantage.
Education and Experience:
* Primary degree in IT or related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years direct working knowledge of and experience with .NET a priority.
* Minimum 2-3 years direct working knowledge of and experience with Javascript frameworks VueJS/AngularJS/React.
Skills:
* Attentive to detail and highly organized.
* Demonstrates good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Confident dealing with client stakeholders and other team members.
* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to look at systems from the perspective of the end-user.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in event sourcing architecture.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
