Job Summary
High-quality vehicle servicing and diagnostics technicians are required to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Complete assigned tasks accurately, following dealership and Volkswagen standards.
* Coordinate with the parts department for required parts and inform the workshop manager of delays or special orders.
* Diagnose vehicle issues, perform repairs after receiving approval from Service Advisors.
* Properly store and label parts for warranty claims or customer requests.
* Conduct vehicle health checks to identify additional maintenance or safety concerns.
* Report extra work needed, unnecessary jobs, or time constraints to Service Advisors.
* Perform road tests to verify completed repairs.
* Maintain updated knowledge on Volkswagen technical bulletins and participate in manufacturer training programs.
* Keep a clean and organized workspace while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements:
* Recently qualified technician with an apprenticeship completion.
* Able to complete job cards accurately and meet factory standards for warranty documentation.
* Strong communication skills to explain additional work needed to Service Advisors or customers.
* Experience with Autoview systems is advantageous.
