Job Description:
Our client, a reputable company in the Carrigaline area of Co. Cork, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to manage their project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and execute project plans to ensure timely completion within budget and meeting customer objectives.
* Review designs for contract compliance and ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
* Develop method statements, inspection plans, and risk assessments to guarantee quality work.
* Mentor staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Conduct regular quality checks and propose cost-effective solutions to problems.
* Manage contract variations with the Quantity Surveyor.
* Prepare monthly progress reports and communicate effectively with the internal site team and clients.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in civil engineering, supervising, coordinating, and managing activities.
* Familiarity with specification for highway works and contract documents.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software and excellent communication skills.
* A valid Driver's License.
