Job Overview
We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our equipment group, responsible for tasks related to procurement, programming, commissioning, and testing of Automated Equipment and cells. This will include debugging of code on PLCs, Robotics, Drives, Vision systems, and testing to ensure equipment functioning as per user requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure newly built systems are sufficiently tested and technical snag lists generated prior to validation activity
* Manage identified snags to ensure timely closeout of actions
* Liaise between Manufacturing and Automation Engineering to define and agree upon equipment requirements
* Generate validation documentation for equipment IQ and OQ activities
* Execute equipment IQ and OQ
* Transfer to production including technical training for Manufacturing/Process Engineering
* Maintain high quality/compliance standards in line with Medical Devices manufacturing requirements
* Communicate effectively with the team to meet goals and objectives
* Ensure adherence to Creganna TE Medical Quality Management System
Your Background
* Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with 7+ years experience
* Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with a multi-departmental team
* Technical background to identify Mechanical vs Electrical/Controls issues
* Innovative problem-solving skills with cost-effective solutions
* Knowledge of ISO and FDA compliance with emphasis on validation
