Main Purpose of Role:
The role involves being a key support to our pipe fabrication business and involve:
* Production of 3D pipework drawings to the highest standard to enable an efficient production cycle.
* Utilise Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D software to produce detailed engineering designs and drawings.
Role Duties:
* Work closely with the wider team members to ensure accurate and precise technical drawings.
* Participate in project meetings, offering technical insights and recommendations for optimisation and efficiency.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of drawings into the production cycle.
* Adhere to project timelines and effectively manage workload to meet project deadlines.
* Conduct regular quality control checks on drawings and models to maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in related software technologies.
* Maintaining a culture of continuous improvements.
* To ensure maximum flexibility and to reflect the Company's evolving needs, additional tasks and responsibilities will form part of this role as it evolves.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a mechanical environment with knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D; less experience will be considered for exceptional candidates.
* Knowledge /experience of construction techniques and building regulations.
* Must be proficient in Autodesk Software.
* Experience in other forms of software is desirable.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage many tasks concurrently.
* Excellent clear and concise communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
* A strong ability to problem solve with the support of the team.
* Ambitious self-starter with high self-standards.
