Job Description:
Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef; ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Responsibilities:
* Oversight of production for assigned stations, maintenance of designated area with supplies, and adherence to cleanliness policies and procedures.
* Maintenance of high-quality standards for all dishes, considering presentation and taste at all times.
* Effective communication with team members and assistance/support where necessary.
* Collaboration with head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
* Upkeep of kitchen cleanliness and organisation, including equipment in good working order.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a Chef De Partie or similar role.
* Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
* Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
* Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
