About Your New Employer Join a leading consultancy working onsite with public sector body as a Senior Data Base Developer to be a part of a high-performance team working on key business deliverables coordinating the efforts and releases of multiple systems teams with interdependencies to deliver a seamlessly integrated solution to our customer About Your New Job Responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance Develops new database-centric functionality on existing software products Create technical and architectural documentation and create technical instructions throughout programme development Provide expertise in the full development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing Advising on Oracle features and on best practice and optimal approach in the use of PL/SQL Responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a Re-architecture and refactoring of legacy systems Oracle PL/SQL coding including but not limited to: Oracle Built-in Packages/Bulk Collect/lnsert/ Processing/ Ref Cursors Dynamic SQL literal and bind variables Application Tuning What Skills You Need 7+ years of experience in application development Acting as a senior responsible person and leading teams of specialists on complex software projects Public sector experience preferred Proven ability in designing and building Oracle (19c) database schemas and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance Previous experience iata Definition and Transaction Control Language, SQL tuning and Oracle query optimisation using cost-based optimiser and other query optimisation tools Oracle(19c) database design & implementation of logical and physical data model Build and maintenance of largescale databases in a development environment Whats on Offer Competitive daily rate €500+ per day Initial 6 month contract with an excellent chance of multiple extensions.
