What You'll Do: Cost Management: Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation to ensure smooth project financials.
Project Oversight: Monitor project costs closely, providing regular financial updates and helping ensure project profitability.
Collaboration: Work alongside contractors and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met, while driving high standards and quality.
Vendor Negotiation: Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to optimise material costs and ensure value for money.
Risk Management: Identify and manage commercial risks throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution.
Problem Solving: Apply your expertise to solve challenges, ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
What Were Looking For: Qualification: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the residential sector.
Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and deliver clear, concise project updates.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites across Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Mainland UK when needed.
Team Spirit: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
