About the Role
We are currently recruiting for our Trainee Solicitor Programme.
As a Trainee Solicitor you'll have the opportunity to discover which areas of law interest and engage you most.

Responsibilities
The Trainee Solicitor will be responsible for a variety of legal work in the provision of complex, commercial legal advice, in a range of legal disciplines, to a range of domestic and multinational companies across a broad variety of sectors.
Drafting various Corporate Governance documents including: drafting company constitutions and company registers, preparing disclosure letters for large multinational mergers and acquisitions, preparing board meeting minutes, carrying out legal analysis and preparing due diligence reports of key and material contracts, and managing the due diligence processes for all types of asset and share transactions themselves.
Researching legislation, guidelines, case law to formulate draft bespoke technical, legal advice for clients on a variety of complex legal matters
Attending and presenting at client meetings on matters relating to the clients complex legal issues, as well as for strategic and business development purposes.
Preparing court documents and pleadings including originating documents, statements of claim, affidavits (including in grounding, verifying, and replying forms), defences and counterclaims, legal submissions, for all manner of legal proceedings and court applications.
Responsible for the review of all forms of corporate, property, loan and security documents, trademark infringement, IP Assignment Agreements, cookies policies, website privacy policies, data privacy policies, and GDPR clauses, as part of assisting with formulating legal advice and implementing transactions, as part of the relevant legal practice groups.
Arranging incorporation and de-shelving of companies, including the preparation of related documentation and CRO filings (e.g. Form A1, Form B5, Form B10, Form B2, etc.) Drafting summary approval procedure packs and related CRO filings (e.g. SAP 203 / Declaration, Form G1 Special Resolution, etc.) for the purpose of advising on and implementing otherwise restricted activities pursuant to the requirements of the Companies Act 2014.
