Business Relationship Manager and Strategy Lead
This role involves serving as a Business Relationship Manager and Strategy Lead for the applications team.
Main Objectives:
* Ensure the good health and management of the system through monitoring, training, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
* Drive positive user experience, usability, process performance, and operational support of the application.
* Identify central initiatives and oversee all aspects of application configuration, development, and upgrades.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Participate in multi-functional site IOPS teams to identify departmental goals, objectives, and metrics aligned with IOPS IT strategy.
2. Provide technical mentorship for the IOPS IT organization.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company procedures and policies.
4. Build monitoring metrics for the business and collaborate with IOPS or Corporate IT Teams to implement actionable process improvements.
5. Collaborate with vendors to develop and drive a strategic roadmap related to the application.
6. Partner with business partners to develop and deploy system functionality.
7. Mentor and develop IOPS IT staff.
8. Manage and coordinate a small staff of specialists on department projects and initiatives.
9. Recommend, negotiate, and maintain training vendor contracts.
Requirements:
* Knowledge and experience of using Oracle.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
* Proven project management skills and ability to work in a GMP/GXP environment.
Education and Experience:
* BS/BA degree in Information Technology or related field required.
* Minimum 8+ years of dynamic industry/relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
