We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join our team at Mid West Physiotherapy clinic in Castletroy, Limerick in a full-time role.
As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both patients and clinicians.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the clinical team in the delivery of a great patient experience
* Welcome patients to the clinic
* Manage and schedule patient appointments
* Maintain accurate patient records
* Process appointment payments
* Follow-up on missed appointments
* Process insurance company and corporate referrals
* Type up letters/reports dictated by clinicians via dictaphone
* Assist with third party billing
* Handle administrative tasks e.g. data inputting, scanning, filing and postage
* Generate and track regular reports (e.g. patient recalls) for clinician completion
* Manage and order stock i.e. retail items, clinic consumables and general supplies
* Optimise clinic efficiency and processes
* Ensure compliance with GDPR confidentiality requirements
* Marketing related tasks

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* 1+ years’ experience in a similar role (e.g. medical secretary / front of house / receptionist administrator)
* Able to demonstrate competencies corresponding to the job description
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Fluent spoken and written English
* Knowledge of AI systems for healthcare / administration is highly desirable
