It's why we're looking for someone who's just as committed as we are, to push for genuine change and bring our ambition of Ecological Transformation to life.We know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.Instrumentation Calibration TechnicianContract Duration/Type: PermanentLocation: Clondalkin39 Hours per week Overview of the role;The Calibration Technician is responsible for executing calibrations of all utilities instrumentation, and where applicable, process/laboratory instrumentation, in the field as per site schedules and procedures.Day to Day of the Role: Execution of calibrations as per site schedule and site procedures, as directed by the Lead Calibration technicianExecution of scheduled and unscheduled work orders, where appropriate, as per site schedule and site procedures, as directed by the Lead Calibration technicianTroubleshoot problems with instrumentation as necessary and as directed by site supervisorsComplete site documentation before and after work tasks, as appropriate.Liaise and Work with the Shift/day maintenance team on all instrumentation calibration issuesLiaise with Contractors during planned vendor calibrations.Participate in the appropriate training.Carry out Risk Assessment of instrumentation calibration steps and ensure these are always kept valid.Enter calibration certs onto the site Computerised Calibration Management System, as directed by the Lead Calibration Tech and AI&C engineerAll work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.Execution of Calibration duties as defined by Supervisor on Client Locations.Ability to work under own supervision on Client locations while carrying out calibration activitiesHave flexible approach to duties as outlined by SupervisorHave excellent timekeepingRequired Skills for the Role:At least 6 months technical experience (Essential)National Craft Certificate (or equivalent) in appropriate mechanical or electrical discipline or Cert/diploma/degree (or equivalent) in appropriate mechanical or electrical discipline (Essential)Excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenExperience in the pharmaceutical industryGood documentation skillsBuilding Management Systems (Scada)Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems.Work within a Computerized Calibration Management System environment.Work within a Permit to Work SystemComputer literateUnderstanding of SOP’s and GMP Engineering systems.Excellent Organisational and planning skills Team Player.Attention to detailMethodical & Analytical approach to work.
