Multi-skilled Customer Service Coordinator
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our busy team based in Kingscourt.
You will be responsible for supporting the Customer Services Coordinators, Detailers, and Transport department within our busy department based in Kingscourt, Ireland.
This role will involve order processing, entering customer orders onto the system with extreme accuracy to meet strict production deadlines, liaising with Roofing/Cladding contractors, Architects, building contractors, and prestige customers when necessary, and communicating with and prioritising orders from sister manufacturing plants while checking detailed orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring material and production capacity is available, liaising with our haulage companies and directly with customers to ensure we deliver requirements on time and in full.
What will you be doing?
1. Provide full knowledge of product ranges to help meet the individual needs of customers.
2. Provide absence cover within the team.
3. Process customer orders and input onto SAP system with extreme accuracy to meet strict production deadlines.
4. Check specification is in line with compliance regulations.
5. Review detailing guide for each product and arrange cutting details in a logical sequence for production to manufacture and transport to load.
6. Verification of customer orders from other detailers before scheduling.
7. Provide support to Customer Service Coordinators with other departmental activities when required.
8. Ensure that all orders are detailed and released to production accurately and on time.
9. Day-to-day management of customer orders from receipt through to delivery ensuring material and production capacity is available.
10. Liaise with Roofing/Cladding contractors, Architects, building contractors, and prestige customers regarding specific order requirements when necessary.
11. Liaise with our haulage companies and directly with customers to ensure the product is delivered on time and in full.
12. Communicate with and prioritise orders from sister manufacturing plants.
13. Perform any further associated tasks as required by management or the needs of the business.
Skills that will help you in the role:
1. The ability to work to deadlines within a busy, demanding office environment whilst being able to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
2. Computer literate with SAP experience is an advantage but not essential.
3. Strong mathematical skills and possess first-class administration, communication, and organisational skills.
4. Good negotiation skills and the ability to deal with all levels of personnel within the organisation.
5. The ability to remain professional and maintain a calm demeanour under pressure.
6. The ability to work independently as well as provide support to team members when required.
