Description
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced SEO Specialist with a keen interest in content, to join our fast-growing SEO team. In return, we will offer you a pathway to success and the freedom and autonomy to shape your own future with us in Legacy.
What does the job entail:
* Turning insights from Google Analytics and Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or equivalent tools into recommendations + strategy.
* Conduct in-depth keyword research and content gap analysis to uncover high-impact opportunities and inform content creation.
* Planning the delivery of a 6 to 12 month SEO strategy and working with the strategy team to create and implement a roadmap.
* Working with the digital PR team to ensure that work done benefits the clients; driving fame + traffic.
* Develop and execute content-led SEO strategies that drive organic visibility, engagement, and conversions for national and international brands.
* Create detailed, data-driven content briefs that provide writers with clear SEO guidance, including keyword targeting, search intent, structure, and optimisation recommendations to ensure high-ranking, high-quality content.
* Collaborate with content and digital PR teams to craft compelling, search-optimized content that ranks, resonates, and converts.
* Optimize on-page elements (headings, metadata, internal linking, etc.) to enhance content performance and search visibility.
* Lead content audits and performance analysis, using insights to refine strategies and maximize impact.
* Support link-building efforts through digital PR collaborations, ensuring content is positioned for maximum outreach and authority growth.
* Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits, identifying and resolving issues related to site structure, internal linking, crawlability, URL parameters, maintaining sitemaps, adding structured data and monitoring site speed.
* Perform competitor analysis, assessing their content strategies, keyword targeting, backlink profiles, and technical SEO to uncover opportunities and stay ahead in the search landscape.
* Recommend SEO tools and best practices and keep up to date on cutting-edge trends.
* Reporting on SEO performance for our clients on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Contributing to agency thought-leadership with blog posts, videos, talks or just ideas around skills you’ve learned, techniques you’ve perfected or weird little quirks you’ve spotted – anything that will make life easier for people working in the industry.
* Potentially representing Legacy at conferences as both an attendee and in the future as a keynote speaker.
* Passion to improve the product, thinking of better ways for the Legacy team to deliver exceptional results.
What you need to have:
* 3+ years professional SEO experience.
* Proven track record of supporting successful SEO results incorporating on/off page, content, technical, and creative.
* Analytical experience (i.e. Google Analytics, Google Search Console a plus).
* Strong keyword research skills.
* Experience creating content for SEO.
* Experience with technical SEO tactics involving HTML/CSS.
* SEO expertise across on/off page, technical, analytical, and creative.
* Ability to identify, diagnose, and capture SEO opportunities.
* Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Bing Web Master Tools.
* Ability to stay ahead of Search Engine releases and shifts in competitor and market tactics.
* The ability to conduct competitive analysis; researching, summarizing, and reporting results.
* The ability to create or repurpose rich, insightful, unique content both for specific keyword ranking and overall site authority.
* Fluency in English is essential, as the role requires crafting, analyzing, and optimizing high-quality content for English-speaking audiences.
