We are currently seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our team at our premises in Breedon Cement Kinnegad. The job holder will report to the electrical line manager for all project and department goals and objectives. They will be encouraged to bring forth new ideas which will improve operational efficiencies and safety levels, given adequate time and resources to execute those ideas.
Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for:
1. Maintaining analytical equipment
2. Preventive maintenance
3. Drafting Electrical Drawings
4. Shift cover for annual Leave
5. Scope project resources before execution
6. Inspection of equipment to ensure H&S requirements are fulfilled
7. Commissioning electrical projects
Working Conditions:
1. Working conditions infrequently involve some physical exertion, exposure to the elements or hazards inherent in the job
2. Ability to work with people from diverse cultures and network across industry.
What we need from you!
1. >2 years electrical maintenance or installation experience in a fixed-plant environment (preferably heavy engineering).
2. Knowledge of industrial instrumentation installation and maintenance.
3. Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC’s of benefit.
4. Experience in motor control circuits of benefit.
5. Experience in HV motors & HV switchgear
6. Calibration of pressure, temperature, level & analytical equipment
7. Experience in weighing instrumentation & calibration
