Overview: Due to ongoing contract requirements and additional workload, PM Group's OTS department is seeking to hire a Project Scheduler to join our client's Project team. He/she will develop, coordinate, integrate, and manage project schedules on a large-scale pharmaceutical development based in Westmeath. The successful candidate will have suitable experience in developing and managing complex project schedules through the project's full life cycle and working with multi-discipline Engineering, Design, Construction Management, and Commissioning & Qualification teams.
We’d really like to hear from candidates with 5 to 10 years’ experience in Project Scheduling of complex capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning, with a successful record in delivery in fast-track environments. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a good understanding and experience of project coordination & management through the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Client.
2. Establishing project objectives in line with the client and ensuring goals & timelines are achieved.
3. Execution of projects via an established Quality and Management system.
4. Responsible for development and management of project schedules and project controls tools.
5. Identification of project milestones, monitor & report on same.
6. Lead / Host Interactive Planning Workshops.
7. Critical Path development & analysis.
8. Being proficient in MS Project and Primavera Scheduling tools.
9. Liaise with project management team with regular schedule performance status reports.
10. Provide valued input to Constructability Reviews.
11. Establish project schedule resource requirements.
12. Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals.
13. Provide performance updates/reports for identification of variances and corrective action.
Qualifications:
You will have a third level degree in a relevant discipline at a minimum and will ideally be proficient in the use of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Good communication & people skills, good time management skills, and being a self-starter and decision maker are essential.
