Construction Health and Safety Advisor
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and oversee health, safety, and environmental policies on major construction sites
* Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and standards
* Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
* Develop and deliver safety training programs for site personnel
* Collaborate with main contractors to ensure a cohesive approach to site safety
* Manage and maintain ISO14001 & ISO45001 certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement
* Prepare and present detailed safety reports to senior management and stakeholders
* Lead incident investigations and develop strategies to prevent recurrence
Requirements:
* Full Driving License: Must hold a valid, full driving license
* Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
* EHS Qualifications: Must possess the required Environmental, Health, and Safety qualifications for working on major construction sites in Ireland
* Experience with Main Contractors: Proven experience working on projects with main contractors in Ireland is essential
* ISO Management Experience: Demonstrated experience managing or implementing ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards

With over 30 years' experience, they offer expertise in a range of services, including large structural steel projects, metal fabrication, and the construction of modular frames.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing top-tier health, safety, and environmental practices on major construction projects. They will ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and standards, conduct risk assessments and site inspections, and develop and deliver safety training programs for site personnel.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, relevant EHS qualifications, and experience working on projects with main contractors in Ireland. They will also have demonstrated experience managing or implementing ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards.
