The European T20 Premier League (ETPL) is an exciting new franchise-based cricket tournament launching in July 2025, spanning three countries and six cities. A joint venture between RulesX (an Indian-based investment company) and Cricket Ireland, ETPL aims to set a new benchmark for T20 cricket in Europe. To support the successful setup of the league, we are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Coordinator for a 9-month contract. Reporting to Cricket Irelands Director of People and Culture, this role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth HR and payroll processes during this pivotal period. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES HR Coordination Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Provide expert HR advice and guidance to employees, fostering strong workplace relationships. Lead and manage recruitment campaigns, ensuring a seamless hiring process. Support Line Managers with performance management, employee relations, resource planning, and staff development. Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment legislation, updating and enforcing policies as needed. Oversee HR system, Bright HR, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Generate HR reports to support strategic decision-making. Assist in HR projects and provide administrative support as required. Payroll Coordination Manage monthly payroll data collection and processing for employees across both Northern and Republic of Ireland. Verify and update employee records, including new hires, leavers, salary adjustments, and working hours. Act as a point of contact with external payroll providers. Address payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll queries. Prepare and distribute payroll reports for senior management. REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will have: A relevant qualification in Business or Human Resources Management. 1-2 years of HR experience and payroll coordination. CIPD qualification (or working towards it). IPASS qualification desirable but not essential. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently advise stakeholders at all levels. A high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information. Strong administration skills, including report preparation, record-keeping, and IT proficiency.
