Job Title: Inventory Accountant

This is a hybrid role based in North Dublin.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate the monthly inventory reviews for obsolete and slow-moving inventory both for operations/manufacturing stock and commercially owned stock.
2. Prepare inventory provisions for internal and external manufacturing and central warehouses.
3. Analyze manufacturing scrap and inventory write off in detail.
4. Assist in preparing the monthly management accounts and oversee monthly reconciliations of inventory accounts.
5. Produce the monthly Hub Inventory Report with commentary on drivers and key movements.
6. Act as the prime hub inventory point of contact.
7. Test SAP for new and complex inventory flows.
8. Provide a single consolidated view of inventory provisions for entities within the Risk & Reserve project and manage quarterly approval flows.
9. Produce monthly inventory breakout and allocation files to support global inventory reporting.
10. Collaborate with Global Supply Chain, focusing on issue resolution with the order management team to correct any transactions with errors.
11. Participate in forecasting and budgeting activities.
12. Undertake projects as required, including those arising from integration and divestment activity.
About Your Skills & Experience:
1. You should be educated to degree level and hold a Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
2. The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years' experience working in industry. Experience in Global Supply Chain is an advantage but not essential.
3. You should possess strong IT skills, with the ability to analyze large data files.
4. Experience using SAP is a distinct advantage.
5. You should be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
6. You should have strong communication skills.
7. You should demonstrate tenacity and determination to achieve goals.
8. A positive "can do" attitude is mandatory.

Estimated salary: €50,000 - €70,000 per annum.
