We are now looking for a Service Technician based out of our Head Office and Workshop near Portlaoise, Ireland.
As a Service Technician, your tasks include:
1. Periodic service and maintenance of forest machines.
2. Diagnostics and related repair work.
3. Reporting of this work to the customer via an electronic system.
Learning new things on the job is commonplace, and working days are rarely the same.
What we expect from you:
1. Qualified Mechanic or Diesel Fitter or other similar degree.
2. Experience in maintenance and repair work with heavy equipment in the forestry, construction, or trucking sectors.
3. Excellent attitude and interest in learning new things and willingness to participate in the training we offer.
4. Service-minded with a flexible attitude.
5. Able to work independently on your own initiative and cohesively as a member of a group.
We are looking for a worker who has excellent manual skills and who already has technical knowledge, e.g., heavy diesel engines, hydraulics, telemetry, diagnostics.
