Job Title: Finance Business Partner
We are seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to collaborate across teams and manage key elements of cost setting, planning, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Standard Costing & Budgeting: Lead the annual standard cost-setting process, ensuring accurate material pricing, cost calculations, and budget variance analysis across products and business units.
* Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the monthly management accounting close process, ensuring accurate reporting aligned with core systems and supporting key metrics for business planning.
* Inventory Management: Maintain inventory valuation, enforce physical controls, and coordinate regular analysis for executive reporting.
* New Product Costing: Collaborate on cross-functional teams to determine full costing for new product introductions.
* Business Partnering: Build accountability by supporting various teams with financial insights and fostering understanding of key metrics.
* Process Improvement & Compliance: Drive finance process improvements, contribute to value improvement programs, and ensure robust internal controls and SOX compliance.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant with 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in manufacturing.
* Strong expertise in accounting, financial analysis, and ERP systems.
* Proven track record of influencing key stakeholders, managing projects, and implementing process improvements.
* Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
