We are looking for experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineers (QAE) with a solid software testing foundation and strong automation skills.
We seek a results-oriented individual with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Candidates should continuously raise the bar for QAE best practices by establishing and documenting customer-focused QA processes.
They should be able to influence other team members to embrace best practices and push quality upstream.

Responsibilities: Defining test strategy and test plans and reviewing them with stakeholders.Improving test coverage and reviewing and filling gaps in existing automation.Representing the customer and understanding how they use the system, including the most relevant end-to-end user scenarios in test plans and automation.Ensuring our team has a strong focus on quality, from requirements through release.Being a key influencer working with designers and product teams to build software that millions will use.Working closely with other teams across Alexa to design and architect solutions that will scale to hundreds of millions of customers.Working on new voice-based experiences and building great new features for our existing voice-based experiences.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large-sized projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
