We are hiring on behalf of our client based in Co. Meath, a well-established restaurant and café that offers a warm and inviting dining experience. With seating for 70+ guests, both indoors and outdoors, the restaurant takes pride in serving high-quality, locally sourced Irish cuisine, all freshly prepared on-site. The venue operates 363 days a year, closing only on December 25th and 26th.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
2. Ensure consistency and excellence in food presentation and taste.
3. Develop and refine menu offerings, including seasonal and special event menus.
4. Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment.
5. Oversee food preparation processes and support junior kitchen staff.
6. Manage stock levels and place orders as needed.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Chef in a similar setting.
2. Strong knowledge of Irish cuisine and fresh, local ingredients.
3. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
4. Passion for food and creativity in menu development.
5. Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
