Internal Ad Clinical Practice Tutor - Senior Physiotherapist (Permanent/Temporary - Part Time) We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic individuals with an interest in rehabilitation to work with the physiotherapy department at the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH). The Physiotherapy Clinical Practice Tutor in the NRH is primarily based on site working in close liaison with the Physiotherapy Department as well as the University College Dublin and Dublin University facilitating student placements throughout the year.
She/he will ensure quality and efficiency of clinical education and participate in the development of the clinical education curriculum with NRH and university staff to promote the integration of theory into practice and evidence-based practice.
The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess:
· B.Sc./master's degree in Physiotherapy approved by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
· Membership of, or eligibility for membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and CORU registered at the time of application.
· A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience with at least 1 year in either Acquired Brain Injury or Spinal Cord Injury.
Experience with Paediatrics or Prosthetics would be desirable.
· Evidence of post graduate clinical education in one of the areas above.
· Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Evidence of continuing professional development.
