AuxiliaGroup Recruitment is seeking a Senior Buyer for our client, an established company in the FMCG sector. This is a permanent opportunity based in Cork.
Role:
1. Developing new customers and business relationships
2. Updating contract pricing on a weekly basis
3. Manage a portfolio of customers and maintain/improve existing relationships
4. Maintaining and updating the CRM system
5. Liaising with Finance on any significant orders and any new customer set ups
6. Obtaining and acting on feedback on sales quotations from customers
7. Analysis of competitive activity
Requirements:
1. 3-5 years’ experience in a buying role in the Food or FMCG sector
2. Third level qualification
3. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
5. Candidate must be a team player and collaborate with the Senior Trading Manager and the MD
6. Ability to present information to the management team
7. Experience of using a CRM system
