Job Responsibilities
* Data Management & Validation: Collaborating with various internal departments to gather and validate payroll data, guaranteeing precision and completeness.
* Benefits Administration: Partnering with external benefits providers to accurately process and validate benefits schemes, including pensions, share schemes, and healthcare.
* Payroll Processing & Reporting: Efficiently processing payroll information, calculating wages, bonuses, and deductions, and generating accurate monthly payroll reports.
* Compliance & Regulatory Filings: Ensuring all payroll regulatory filings are completed on time, addressing any queries from statutory authorities, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws.
* Employee Support & Process Improvement: Responding to employee payroll queries, developing resource materials, and driving continuous improvement by streamlining and automating processes.
* Audit & Documentation: Assisting with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation, and maintaining up-to-date payroll procedural documentation.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field essential.
* 2-3 years of Irish payroll processing experience, ideally within a large-scale or high-volume role.
* Strong attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in payroll software.
* Experience with international payroll, and HR information systems such as Workday, and Megapay software preferred.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* IPASS Payroll Qualification or an equivalent preferred.
