Head of CommunicationsLead the communications strategy for a purpose-driven organisation shaping Ireland’s sustainable future.Our client, south of Dublin city centre, is looking for a Head of Communications to lead a strategic function that protects and enhances reputation, builds public trust, and supports delivery of national-scale initiatives.The OpportunityReporting to the Communications Director, you will develop and execute an integrated communications strategy across external relations, media, brand, social, and internal communications. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and creative thinking to support a high-impact, purpose-led organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver a strategic, insight-led communications plan, covering PR, public affairs, social media, brand, and internal comms.Manage day-to-day external communications and media relations, ensuring consistent and aligned messaging.Build strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and internal teams to support business and reputational objectives.Lead strategic marketing communications to enhance brand relevance and audience engagement.Oversee agency partners to ensure quality outputs and strong performance.Implement internal communications initiatives to drive engagement and alignment.Plan and execute media campaigns and events, measuring effectiveness and impact.Manage communications budgets and contribute to team leadership.The ideal candidateYou are a strategic thinker with strong execution skills and a deep understanding of communications as a business enabler.
