**Job Description**
Manage the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation and security across all digital systems. As the IT Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining existing systems, leading IT projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing technological solutions that enhance business efficiency and supports business needs.
**Responsibilities:**
• Oversee the day-to-day management and security of IT systems, networks, and servers
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Provide technical support and training to staff across multiple departments and locations
• Ensure efficient time management and prioritisation of support tickets
• Monitor and ensure internal IT SLAs are met
• Collaborate with the Head of IT on strategic technology projects, upgrades and deployments
• Lead and participate in projects to enhance technology infrastructure and systems
• Maintain security of data, backup systems and network access
• Monitor IT assets
• Maintain detailed documentation for all IT systems, assets, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance
**Requirements:**
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as an effective team member across the organisation
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in IT management, with a strong understanding of infrastructure and technical support
• Hands-on experience with Office 365 and Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection protocols
• Experience in managing IT projects, from planning to execution
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Understanding of business processes and use of technology in a multi-location environment
**Essential Qualifications:**
• MSCE CompTIA or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
**Occasional travel will be required between various sites covering the UK.**
