Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic People & Culture Partner to join our client's team in South Down. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and developing a high-performing workforce that aligns with the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Connect with employees across the business, promoting staff engagement and embedding company values and vision
* Support Line Managers as effective leaders through coaching and consistent feedback on people management practices
* Build strong relationships with Managers and establish effective communication methods between employees and management
* Develop and implement an employee health and wellbeing strategy
* Prepare and process monthly payroll for 80 people, including associated pension and returns
* Drive diversity in the workplace by recruiting, engaging, and retaining top talent
* Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies and onboarding processes
* Coordinate contracts of employment for new starts and promotions
* Lead performance management processes, ensuring efficient employee performance reviews
* Develop job evaluation processes and determine job roles in line with company pay scales
Requirements:
* CIPD qualification or relevant third-level qualification in HR or related discipline
* Proven track record within HR, ideally from an HR Officer/HR Business Partner background
* Experience processing payroll via Sage and associated pensions and returns
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
* IT and system savvy, with experience operating HRMS and software applications
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment law
* Proven track record of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to drive a high-performance culture
