Fantastic new opportunity for a Buyer to join a multinational company with a hybrid working model in Dublin. This is a permanent role where you will play an integral part in supporting the wider buying team.
As a Buyer, your key responsibilities will include maintaining customer order flow, managing PO processes, monitoring daily performance and KPIs, and responding to customer queries.
Key Performance Areas:
* Day-to-Day Buying Tasks: Raising POs, follow-up, expedite, resolving invoice discrepancies, and responding to sales inquiries.
* Meeting On-Time Delivery and Lead-Time Accuracy Targets.
* Managing and Improving Relationships with Suppliers.
* Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Overdue, Out of Stocks, Delivery, and Lead Time Accuracy, Fill Rate.
* Designing and Implementing Inventory Reduction Initiatives like Vendor Managed Inventory.
* Improving Customer Experience by Driving Order Fulfilment Rate Improvements.
Key Requirements:
* 3+ Years' Experience in a Similar Buying Role with Knowledge of Purchasing, Planning, and Inventory Control.
* Knowledge of ERP Systems an Advantage.
* Experience in Excel Essential.
