We’re seeking an experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to be based in our new Dublin city centre office. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career within an established and successful company that has welfare and wellbeing as core values.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Projects: Take day-to-day responsibility for delivering projects, ensuring technical quality, budget adherence, and programme timelines.
2. Work Independently: Operate with a high degree of independence to maintain technical excellence and project management.
3. Prepare Proposals: Develop fee proposals for both external and internal clients, ensuring clear and competitive project outlines.
4. Lead Project Phases: Guide projects from desk study and feasibility through to ground investigation, interpretation, and final design.
5. Apply Technical Skills: Utilise your technical and commercial skills, knowledge, and experience to manage all aspects of project delivery.
6. Collaborate: Work effectively as an ambitious team player, contributing to the success of the team and the projects.
Qualifications:
Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. Relevant contaminated land investigation and assessment experience.
2. In-depth knowledge of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
3. Experience of site management and implementing the requirements of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations.
4. Hands-on experience in field investigation, including drilling supervision, groundwater and ground gas sampling, and supervision of remediation activities.
5. Expertise in developing robust conceptual site models.
6. Proficient in qualitative and quantitative risk assessment.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear and concise technical reports and documents.
8. Clean driving license and willingness to travel within Ireland.
