Role Responsibilities:
1. To develop and implement strategic sales strategies for your assigned area to meet targets
2. To forge and nurture strong business relationships with farmers throughout your designated area
3. To serve as the primary point of contact for farmers, understanding their needs to provide tailored product solutions to enhance herd and overall farm performance
4. To manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through to closing deals
5. To actively identify new business opportunities for sales growth and brand presence
6. To represent and promote the brand at farming events, shows and local talks
Skills you will need:
1. Proven experience in agricultural sales, preferably in the dairy or livestock sectors
2. A knowledge and understanding of dairy herd management
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. An excellent networker with strong relationship-building skills
5. Driven and self-motivated with strong sales aptitude
6. Highly organised, able to manage own diary
7. A collaborative team player who can work autonomously to meet business needs
8. A practical and methodical approach to delivering and securing a sale
9. An interest in the Ag Tech sector and advancements
10. A clean driving licence and willingness to travel daily
