We make business more personal by investing in building relationships and empowering our clients to make the right choice for their organisation now and for the future.Role Responsibilities:Lead a portfolio of Global Statutory Audit clients including the direct delivery of Irish/UK audits and project management/coordination of international audits.Oversee the detailed audit work of managers, assistant managers, and seniors on audits, working directly with the partner to deliver.Liaise closely with clients regarding planning and closing meetings and discussing business developments.Review audit work papers.Provide guidance/expertise and participate in the performance of audit procedures, focusing on complex and/or specialized issues.Assist the team by motivating them, allocating on-the-job tasks for audits, and completing staff and job allocation.For technically demanding audits, manage and assist in the performance of complex sections such as Share Based Compensation and Revenue Recognition.Supervise and mentor junior members of the Audit staff to ensure firm standards are maintained throughout the audit process.Foster strong client relationships through regular communication and understanding their business challenges.Participate in preparing and presenting proposals to prospective clients, contributing to the growth of the firm's client base.Skills and Attributes:ACA/ACCA qualified with 7 years post-qualification experience in audit.Experience from a top-ten firm.Audit experience of large Irish companies or multinational entities.Extensive knowledge of IFRS and Irish GAAP.Some knowledge of US GAAP is beneficial.The ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines.Experience with documenting testing, results, and findings in an electronic auditing package.Experience working as part of a team supporting others.Commercial awareness.Life at GT:Our reward and benefits are designed to create an environment where our people can flourish.
