Property Manager Role

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide property management and advisory services to support estate management.
* Assist in planning, managing, and rationalizing the existing estate.
* Review and advise on third-party proposals, ensuring compliance with property management regulations.
* Advise on sourcing and acquisition of new facilities, aligning with service plans and goals.
* Prepare reviews and commentaries on development plans, collaborating with local authorities and experts.
* Maintain statutory compliance regarding planning and zoning regulations for all properties.
* Conduct property suitability assessments and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide documentation for acquisitions and disposals, submitting to the Property Review Group and Senior Leadership Team.
* Establish and advise on costs related to property transactions and development proposals.
Professional Requirements:
* Proven track record in property management, with a deep understanding of regulatory landscapes and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling strong relationships with internal and external partners.
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing complex property-related challenges.
* High level of technical proficiency to communicate effectively with relevant personnel.
* Proficiency in valuation and negotiation skills, with detailed knowledge of best practices in property management.
* Good knowledge of zoning and planning objectives, including development plans and area plans.
* Familiarity with planning and development laws, building regulations, and leadership and team work ability.
* Organizational and management experience, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
* A Level 8 (or higher) Quality & Qualifications Ireland major academic award in Property Studies, Property Valuation & Management, or Property Economics.
* Membership of the relevant professional association: Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
* Qualification equivalent to one of the above, with at least seven years of satisfactory and relevant experience in commercial agency, property valuation, property transactions, and/or property management.
* Experience in managing large property portfolios, including property acquisition and disposal, legal and statutory obligations, financial planning, budgeting, lease management, and asset strategy development/management.
