About this Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer who enjoys working with the latest Cloud Native technologies.
You will help build, operate, and maintain our tools and pipelines, focusing on scalability, reliability, automation, and building critical infrastructure and tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Address key challenges of building and automating a best-in-class CI/CD pipeline to give feedback for the development of quality, failure-resistant private clouds.
2. Build tools to facilitate observability and efficient troubleshooting.
3. Drive collaborations across multiple business areas within a large organization.
4. Help craft our vision for a truly Cloud-Native solution.
Requirements
* You must delight in building tools to automate routine tasks.
* Hands-on experience with configuration, deployment, and optimization of microservices and troubleshooting sophisticated applications at scale is essential.
* Motivation to constantly seek new ways to improve system performance is required.
* Passionate about seamless uptime and infrastructure resiliency to failures.
* Experience with open source and proprietary cloud and virtualization technologies (Kubernetes, VMWare, OpenStack, Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.) is necessary.
* Comfortable with JavaScript, Go, Python, Groovy, and Bash scripts.
* Experience with tools like Git, GitLab, Docker, Jenkins, ELK, Redis, Ansible, Terraform, Spinnaker, Grafana, GitOps, and Kubeflow.
* Developed Cloud Native Microservices using the latest technologies.
* Practical experience in setting up DevOps practices for large-scale enterprise products.
* Share best practices and implement processes to drive DevOps methodologies.
* Ability to tackle problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* A minimum BSc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required; MSc. or PhD is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
