We have an exciting Salesforce Administrator Role within Bord Gais Salesforce Application team, responsible for administration capabilities of the Salesforce platform across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud components.
This role is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a newly established Salesforce Energy & Utilities implementation focused on using technical innovation to provide industry leading sales and customer service. Our team is supporting significant digital transformation across the organisation, including transforming the experience, the technology, and our ways of working. We’re building products that help our customers manage their energy and their homes.
In this role you’ll be a driving force for leverage of the Salesforce platform within the company including adoption and harnessing of Salesforce-led AI opportunities. will be part of a team responsible for operational capabilities of the Bord Gais Salesforce platform. You will maintain, consolidate, optimise, and continuously enhance the Salesforce solutions and capability they provide to our business. Experience with Omni-studio, CPQ, EPC would be an advantage.
About the Role
1. Ensure the Sales/Service Platform technologies underpinning are performing and evolving in such
a way to provide an excellent sales/service journeys for customers across web, app, call centre and partner sales.
2. Set-Up and configure green-field Salesforce Implementation.
3. Initially focus will be on Service Cloud built using SF/Vlocity components.
4. User provisioning and configuration of permissions and access. May include other non Salesforce applications.
5. Salesforce Configuration and configurative development, including: Service Cloud set-up and configuration; Lightning App Builder; Flows; Object Configuration: fields, record types, visibility and permission; sandbox creations and refreshes; Data Loading.
6. Supports the assessment of system requirements, identifying and addressing any potential issues
prior to implementation.
7. Actively pursues technology trends and incorporates into the technology roadmap.
8. Work closely with Senior Solution Architects to document end to end solutions.
9. Work as part of a team to deliver the required functionality across Sales, Service, Fulfilment,
Payment, Billing, Support.
10. Inputs into plans for Technical Verification/Regression testing plans, as required.
11. Ensures peer reviews and unit tests are prepared and executed for their own work to the
appropriate standards.
12. Creates and updates application documentation according to documentation standards.
13. Follows change control procedures and puts in place full version control and configuration management to ensure that the production service is not compromised.
14. Ensures compliance with statutory and company procedures, including security policies.
15. Drives and contributes to retrospectives and lessons learnt exercises to move the organisation forward and improve the quality of deliverables.
16. Identifies and implements opportunities to improve development standards, processes and tools.
17. Maintains an understanding of relevant industry trends and current knowledge of the technology deployed in the business area.
About You
2+ years of Salesforce Administrative experience
Thorough knowledge of Service Cloud processes, including:
Support processes
Case milestones
SLAs
Case Assignment and Escalations Rules
Salesforce User permission and access : User Licenses, feature licenses, profiles, permission sets
Salesforce and declarative configuration, including: Page Layouts, Compact Layouts
Object record types and custom fields
Approval processes
Sandbox hierarchy
Understanding of Salesforce Digital Experience Cloud
Salesforce User types: Internal, partner, customer, public
Configurative development using Lightning App Builder
Experience on Knowledge Setup, Articles creation and it’s access.
Creation Reports and Dashboards as per the business needs.
Admin/App Builder Certification would be a plus point
Salesforce Certification: Administrator
Desirable: · SFI/Vlocity knowledge · Einstein bots · Workbench · Experience with using CI/CD process
