Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Culture: Drive the development of a robust food safety culture and lead the Quality & Technical team.
Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance with food safety regulations and standards (e.g., BRCGS), manage interactions with regulatory authorities, and ensure HACCP plans are up-to-date.
Audits and Inspections: Ensure readiness for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
Quality Systems and Incident Management: Oversee the Quality Management System, manage non-conformance investigations, implement preventive measures, and ensure robust traceability for incident management.
Collaboration: Partner with production, supply chain, NPD, and sales teams to improve product quality and ensure compliance.
Team Development: Lead, train, and manage the QA team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and food safety awareness.
Governance: Ensure technical governance aligns with legal, internal, and customer requirements.
Requirements: Experience in a relevant role in the food industry as well as at least 5+ years management experience.
A degree in a related field.
Strong experience managing a team in a fast paced environment.
Passionate about food manufacturing within an innovative environment.
