Workshop Instructor, Voinovich Academy for Excellence in Public Service (pool posting)
The Voinovich Academy for Excellence in Public Service is seeking Workshop Instructors for part-time, intermittent, instructor positions to conduct professional training workshops. The instructors will work closely with the curriculum manager to develop and present session content, create training agendas, and provide materials for participants. The successful candidates will need to incorporate active learning elements into their instruction. The anticipated subject matter/content areas include:
* Strategic Thinking
* Gallup Clifton Strengths
* Trauma-informed care
* Basic principles of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Minimum Qualifications
* A bachelor’s degree is required.
* At least five (5) years of professional experience in at least one of the content areas outlined in the job description.
* Commitment to interactive and participatory learning.
* Experience teaching, training, or facilitating adult learners.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree is preferred. Experience in the public sector or nonprofit environment is preferred.
